The Rounder Records 40th Anniversary Concert will premiere exclusively on Nashville Public Television (NTP) on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 8:00pm. NPT will air the special prior to its March broadcast nationwide on PBS. Recorded in October at the Grand Ole Opry House, Rounder artists Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Bela Fleck, Irma Thomas, Nathan & The Zydeco Cha Chas, Henry Butler, and musical host Minnie Driver all performed. The special will also include performances from Steve Martin's show at the Ryman Auditorium, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant's 2008 CMT Crossroads special, and Madeleine Peyroux's 2009 concert in Los Angeles. The album also includes performances by Minnie Drive, Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas, and Irma Thomas, as well as performance footage from Steve Martin and from Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
