Justin Moses

Justin is an accomplished instrumentalist on mandolin, guitar, banjo, fiddle, dobro and bass. Soon after learning his first chords on the mandolin at the age of six, he began playing with his family's gospel group in churches. As a teen he entered regional competitions, winning several on multiple instruments. After graduating high school he helped form the East Tennessee based band Blue Moon Rising which went on to gain national recognition and acclaim. After three successful years he left the band and became a founding member of Sierra Hull & Highway 111, performing at several prestigious festivals and events with Sierra in 2005. Justin released a solo instrumental CD 'Dusty Roads' in 2006 which received favorable reviews in numerous bluegrass and acoustic publications. He gained valuable experience through recording sessions with various artists and performances with bands Blue Moon Rising and Newfound Road in 2006/2007. |
