Acoustic Guitar Players’ Choice Award
Congratulations to Dan who was recently named an Acoustic Guitar magazine Players’ Choice Award winner! Dan tied with the inimitable Ricky Skaggs & Bryan Sutton for the “Bronze” medal in the Acoustic Country Guitarist category. Brad Paisley took the Silver, and Vince Gill took the Gold. Martin Guitars' Dan Tyminski D-28 Signature Edition
Dan recently teamed up with Martin Guitars to design his very own signature edition! The new version is modeled after his beloved 1946 Martin D-28, which was Dan's very first guitar, and each will be signed by Dan and numbered in succession. With the new guitar, Dan joins a distinguished group of other Martin Signature guitarists ranging from Peter Frampton to Woody Guthrie. Dan Tyminski Receives Two IBMA Awards
At the October 1 ceremony for the 20th annual International Bluegrass Music Association awards, Dan was honored as the Male Vocalist of the Year, and the album Wheels received the nod for Album of the Year. During the show, Dan and the guys also gave a crowd-rousing performance of the instrumental "Knock Knock!" Congratulations to Dan, DTB & all the evening's nominees and recipients! Adam Steffey Releases Solo Album
