The Dan Tyminski Band's episode of "Unplugged at Studio 330" is about to air on CMT's sister station, CMT Pure Country (formerly VH-1 Country). The premiere airing will be Friday, May 30th at 10pm ET, and the episode will be re-aired occasionally in the coming weeks. Check their website for airtimes!

IBMA Award Nominations
The International Bluegrass Music Association has announced the nominees for their 2008 awards. Congratulations to the Dan Tyminski Band on being nominated for Instrumental Group of the Year! Additionally, DTB members received a number of nominations... Dan for Male Vocalist of the Year, Ron for Banjo and Fiddle, Barry for Bass, and Adam for Mandolin. The International Bluegrass Music Awards were presented on October 2nd at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees & winners, but especially to our very own Barry Bales on being named Bass Player of the Year and to Adam Steffey on being named Mandolin Player of the Year! When Dan's Not Playing Music
Golf Digest’s new ranking of the “Top 100 Golfers in Music” was just released, and our very own Dan is #9! With a 4.4 handicap, Dan is joined in the top 10 by the likes of Kenny G, Vince Gill, and all three Gatlin brothers (including Rudy who claims the top spot). A few of the many other notables in the field of 100 include Alice Cooper, Justin Timberlake, Darius Rucker, Kix Brooks and Dweezil Zappa. Congrats Dan!
